- Check on aminet for RDB (Rigid Disk Block) programs. After trying these
- programs, if you are still unable to access the disk, I would take it
- back to your friends and do a quick format on the drive, and then try to
- recover the data. But if there is truly damage to the drive's board, you
- won't even be able to format it. Then your only other choice is to try to
- get a replacement board from Maxtor, or send the drive to them.
